 Product Description

With up to 20% stretch under nominal load (30% stretch at max strength rating), Kinetic Recovery Ropes smoothly transfer max kinetic energy from the towing vehicle to the stuck vehicle.  3/4" Kinetic Recovery Rope is designed for use on cars and light 4x4's up to 6,000 lbs, including Jeeps, Suzuki's, and buggies.  While smaller than some of the other Kinetic Ropes that ASR builds, the 3/4" rope still packs a lot of performance in its punch.  Manufactured in the USA in an ISO 9001:2008 certified facility, this item is made with Double Braid Nylon and includes Cordura covered eyes and a 3-ft Cordura slider on the body for enhanced abrasion resistance.  Reduced shock loads during recovery action and the highest quality materials/construction all make this piece of recovery equipment a superior option for extracting smaller to mid-sized 4x4s.  Standard tow ropes and snatch straps just can't compete.  This item is manufactured and tested in conformance with API Q1 Specification standards.

ASR's 3/4" Kinetic Recovery Rope has an MTS of 19,000 lbs.  Applying a Kinetic Rope-specific Safety Factor of approx 3:1 yields a Working Load Limit of 6,000 lbs.  In order to prevent excessive shock loading of the rope, vehicle frame and connection points that can lead to catastrophic failure, never accelerate past 5 mph when using a kinetic recovery rope.

3/4" KINETIC RECOVERY ROPE SPECIFICATIONS:

  • For use on light 4x4s vehicles up to 6,000 lbs.
  • Min. Tensile Strength of 19,000 lbs.
  • 100% Double Braid Nylon construction.
  • Cordura chafe protection in eyes and a 3' Cordura slider on body.
  • UV Resistant.
  • Made in the USA.

  1. A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!

Posted by Lee Hansen on 27th Mar 2015

I just received my 3/4" recovery rope and am thoroughly satisfied with its construction. It now rides on the front bumper of my Jeep Wrangler. While I have not put it to the test yet, I am confident that it will perform well and more than meet my needs.
