Made in the USA in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility. Our most popular selling winch rope size, the 3/8” Winch Line, is the standard for higher capacity winches such as the Warn M10000, but also is a very common upgrade for 9,000 lb and lower winches when an extra safety margin is desired. Like all our winch lines, the 3/8” family is made from our high strength Plasma® line. The benefits of a Plasma®-based synthetic winch line are many: Plasma® is as strong as high-carbon/high-strength steel, and yet because of it's extremely low density, it’s so light it floats. Unlike other synthetic fibers, Plasma® does not stretch, and so in the event of a break there is no snapback, the ends will simply fall to the ground. Plasma® line also will not kink or burr like a steel cable, making it much safer on the hands. Our Plasma® line has built-in UV inhibitors, is unaffected by exposure to mildew/mold, and is currently in service with militaries around the world.
ASR’s Standard Synthetic Winch Line features a heavy duty stainless steel thimble in the eye, providing an extremely durable opening on which any number of attachments can be placed. A 5 ft Cordura ‘slider-sleeve’ is also included, providing the ability to position an extra level of chafe protection wherever needed. The body is coated with a durable yet very pliable polymeric coating that provides excellent durability against abrasion and water/heavy weather and UV exposure, and features a 100" drum warning color on the bitter end that lets you know when you are close to the end of your line.
ASR's 3/8" Standard Winch Line has an MTS of 17,500 lbs, and can be paired with either a 2 Tonne Excel Sling hook or 2 Ton Crosby Sling Hook.

Outstanding Customer Service
WOW! I cannot say enough about ASR as a company and their quality products. I purchased this synthetic winch line as a Christmas gift for my husband after being the unlucky participant in a steel winch cable snapping incident. (I was in our boat being lowered into the water when the steel line snapped sending me flying down the rails into the water and almost sinking our boat). Needless to say, I wanted to make sure we were getting a top-of-the-line quality product tested for safety. Enter ASR. The company was incredibly responsive and helpful in the ordering process, and when it came time for delivery they went above and beyond. Washington State had just gone through major flooding, and so to make sure the winch line arrived in time for Christmas they offered to hand deliver it from their warehouse to avoid postal delays. This meant they drove two hours (one way!) to hand me the package with a smile on their face and a Merry Christmas! I don't image they do this very often, but I was still amazed!! To top things off, I opened the package to find a complimentary soft shackel included. My husband LOVES the gift and cannot wait to install it on the offroad truck he is building. We'll be proud to be ASR customers for life!
